Antiviral + Anti-Inflammatory Herbal Regiment
Brickell Bay, FL.
Client Y is a 24-year old female diagnosed by her physician as having Hashimoto’s disease, thyroid problems, and poor digestion (with bowel movements reported every 3 days). She also suffers from chronic aches and pains, depression and poor sleeping patterns. We approached this situation by requesting the Inflammatory and Immunity biochemical labs, analyzing the results in order to investigate further inflammatory patterns or possible signs of reactive infections like the Epstein Bar Virus (which can commonly trigger Hashimoto’s symptoms). A recent study found the Epstein Barr virus in 80% of those with Hashimoto’s symptoms.
A four-part program was encouraged as part of the healing process along with antiviral and anti-inflammatory herbs and supplements to support the immune system. An anti-inflammatory diet was also administered as part of the process in order to manage symptoms.
Within 6 weeks aches and pain decreased from a 10 to a 7 and there was also decreased inflammatory markers.
